2. Rhythm - Fugue - 9am

                -  Ansel Adams

"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."

As dawn ascends, mist rises like a bridal veil, cloaking the mountains and forests in an ephemeral beauty that transforms the world into a living tapestry. This serene dance contrasts starkly with the cacophony of urban life that emerges by mid-morning—streets bustling with noise, agitation, and relentless motion. In the fields and woodlands beyond the city’s grasp, a slower, healing rhythm offers solace and reconnection to one's inner essence, a meditative antidote to the pace of modernity.

This project captures the dichotomy between these worlds, seeking to evoke a sense of stillness and reflection amid the chaos of contemporary life. It is an invitation to pause, observe, and rediscover the transcendent beauty that lies in nature’s quiet embrace.

  • Glory be to God for dappled things —
  • For skies of couple-colour as a brinded cow;
  • For rose-moles all in stipple upon trout that swim;
  • Fresh-firecoal chestnut-falls; finches’ wings;
  • Landscape plotted and pieced — fold, fallow, and plough;
  • And áll trádes, their gear and tackle and trim.

  • All things counter, original, spare, strange;
  • Whatever is fickle, freckled (who knows how?)
  • With swift, slow; sweet, sour; adazzle, dim;
  • He fathers-forth whose beauty is past change:
